The year 2012 has held great things for me as an educator and person. It has been a year of great change and opportunity. This Holiday season has been an opportunity for reflection and planning. Winter Break is one of my favorite times of year because it gives me a chance to refocus without having a long layoff. Instead of resolutions, I have decided to make goals for the new year.
Teaching Goals
1. Blog two times a week: improve my content and consistency.
2. 365 Picture project with my students.
3. Continue to use Twitter and learn more about hash tags.
4. Use more technology during lessons (haiku deck, prezi...)
5. Transition to content grading.
6. Improve curriculum and lessons.
7. Create a masters degree plan.
8. Complete the Google Apps online classes.
I look forward to the new year and all it will bring!
